Relational Therapy for Individuals & Couples

Understand your patterns. Strengthen your boundaries. Change what isn’t working.

Chloe Harris
Therapist for Relationship & Family Dynamics

I offer relational therapy for individuals and couples who want to understand what’s really happening in their relationships — not just talk about feelings, but recognise patterns, make sense of long-standing dynamics, and create meaningful change.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable. They’re often the steady or responsible one in their relationships or families, yet still find themselves repeating familiar roles, carrying emotional weight, or navigating confusing or controlling dynamics.

In our work together, we slow things down and look clearly at what’s unfolding beneath the surface. Whether you’re coming on your own or as a couple, therapy becomes a space to build insight, steadiness and more honest communication — without blame or quick fixes.

I work primarily online with clients across the UK, offering a grounded and collaborative space to explore relationship, intimacy and family difficulties, as well as the longer-term impact of emotionally unsafe environments.

Therapy with Clarity and Real Support

Therapy with me is collaborative and relational rather than formulaic. We slow things down enough to notice what’s actually happening — in your emotional responses, your relationships, and the roles you’ve found yourself in — and begin to understand how those patterns developed.

Sessions are thoughtful, grounded and practical. I won’t rush to label you or push you into a model. Instead, we work towards clarity, steadiness and changes that feel realistic in everyday life.

This Work May Be a Good Fit If:

  • You’ve done therapy or self-reflection before but still feel stuck

  • You’re tired of being the responsible one, over-accommodating or emotionally carrying others

  • You want honesty and depth rather than surface reassurance

  • You sense there’s a larger pattern in your relationships, family or work but haven’t been able to fully name it

Who I Work With

Individuals

I work with people navigating the aftermath of difficult relationships or family systems, often after years of coping or holding things together.

This may include:

  • Recovery from emotional manipulation or controlling dynamics

  • People-pleasing, burnout and attachment wounds

  • The longer-term effects of emotional neglect or chronic stress

  • Questions around sexuality, self-trust and embodied confidence

  • Creative, existential or life transitions

Couples

I support couples who want to understand what’s happening beneath recurring conflict or disconnection.

This may include:

  • Emotional intimacy and reconnection

  • Communication breakdown and conflict repair

  • Attachment dynamics and unmet needs

  • Sexual disconnection or mismatched desire

  • Navigating significant relationship transitions

About me

My work is shaped by a long-standing interest in how people make sense of themselves within relationships, families, and wider systems. I’m drawn to complexity, emotional depth, and the subtle patterns that shape how we relate.

I began my therapeutic path in 2008 through body-based work, later training in therapeutic yoga, somatics, and trauma-informed counselling. I hold a level 4 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling, an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy (NAOS).

My approach blends psychological depth with grounded, practical thinking. I pay attention to emotional patterns, relational roles, and the ways early experiences continue to influence present relationships — while keeping the work clear, steady and relevant to everyday life.

My style is warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I value honesty, steadiness, and meeting people where they are, without judgement or agenda.

Alongside therapy, I work creatively as a singer and DJ. My interest in symbolism, metaphor and meaning informs my sensitivity to emotional nuance, while therapy sessions themselves remain grounded, client-led and focused on your lived experience.

Testimonials

Working with Chloe has been truly transformational. She provides a nurturing and safe space for online therapy, where I could explore deep emotions, face challenges, and access my inner wisdom. Her extensive knowledge and expertise helped me find structure in my healing journey and release the burden of complex childhood trauma that I’d carried for years.

Chloe’s lived experience, combined with her professional training in trauma recovery, makes her deeply empathetic and understanding. I felt fully accepted as I shared my spiritual beliefs, shame, grief, joy, and aspirations. She introduced me to creative and holistic ways of healing, and her down-to-earth, humorous nature made the journey feel safe and inspiring.

I would recommend Chloe to anyone seeking compassionate support to heal from the past, rebuild confidence, and embrace life with a new sense of freedom.
