Relational Therapy for Individuals & Couples

For people who want to understand patterns, not just manage symptoms

Chloe Harris
Relational Counsellor | Couples & Intimacy Work

I offer relational therapy for individuals and couples who want to understand what’s actually happening in their relationships — not just talk about feelings, but recognise patterns, make sense of long-standing dynamics, and create meaningful change.

My work is particularly suited to people who are thoughtful and self-aware, often the “capable one” in their relationships or families, yet who still find themselves repeating the same roles, conflicts, or emotional burdens.

My couples work is informed by specialist training in psychosexual and relationship therapy and delivered within a steady, collaborative therapeutic process that supports clarity, honesty, and real change over time.

I work primarily online with clients across the UK, offering a grounded, thoughtful space to explore relationship and intimacy difficulties, complex family dynamics, and the longer-term effects of emotionally unsafe environments.

Therapy with Clarity, Depth, and Real Support

Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and responsive rather than formulaic. We work by slowing things down enough to notice patterns — in relationships, emotional responses, and roles — and to understand how these developed over time.

Sessions are emotionally grounded and practical. I don’t pathologise, rush to conclusions, or ask you to fit into a model. Instead, we build clarity, emotional steadiness, and new ways of relating that hold up in real life.

This work may be a good fit if:

  • You’ve done therapy or self-reflection before but still feel stuck

  • You’re tired of being over-responsible, accommodating, or emotionally carrying others

  • You want depth, honesty, and clarity rather than labels or quick fixes

  • You sense there’s a bigger pattern in your relationships, family, or work — but haven’t been able to articulate it yet

Who I Work With

Individuals

People navigating the aftermath of difficult relationships, family systems, or long-term emotional roles — often after years of coping or holding things together.

This includes work around:

  • Recovery from narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, and emotional manipulation

  • People-pleasing, burnout, and attachment wounds

  • Complex trauma and emotional neglect

  • Menstrual health, sexuality, and embodied self-trust

  • Periods of creative, existential, or life transition

Couples

  • Emotional intimacy and reconnection

  • Communication breakdown and conflict repair

  • Attachment dynamics and unmet needs

  • Sexual disconnection or mismatched desire

  • Navigating major relationship transitions, including deciding how — or whether — to continue together

What to Expect

  • Free 15-minute intro call to see if we’re a good fit

  • 60-minute sessions

  • Individuals: £65

  • Couples: £100

  • Sessions held online via Zoom

Sessions are usually weekly at first, with flexibility as clarity and stability grow. My work is responsive rather than formulaic, focusing on understanding patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and building steadier ways of relating to yourself and others.

About me

My work is shaped by a long-standing interest in how people make sense of themselves within relationships, families, and wider systems. I’m particularly drawn to work that involves complexity, emotional depth, and the unspoken patterns that shape how people relate.

My approach blends psychological depth, somatic awareness, and intuitive clarity, shaped by both lived experience and extensive professional training.

I began my therapeutic path in 2008 through body-based work, later training in therapeutic yoga, somatics, and trauma-informed counselling. I hold an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy (NAOS). I work within the scope of my current training and qualifications and under specialist supervision, and I will begin the Diploma in Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy in 2026.

Alongside this, I am undertaking training in Jungian and post-Jungian psychology, which informs my depth-oriented and symbolic understanding of relational patterns without being imposed on clients.

My style is compassionate, grounded, and emotionally intelligent. I value honesty, steadiness, and meeting people where they are, without judgement or agenda.

Alongside therapy, I work creatively as a singer and DJ, and I engage with symbolic systems such as tarot and astrology as personal languages of meaning. These inform my sensitivity to metaphor, pattern, and emotional nuance, while therapy sessions remain grounded, client-led, and focused on your lived experience.

Testimonials

Working with Chloe has been truly transformational. She provides a nurturing and safe space for online therapy, where I could explore deep emotions, face challenges, and access my inner wisdom. Her extensive knowledge and expertise helped me find structure in my healing journey and release the burden of complex childhood trauma that I’d carried for years.

Chloe’s lived experience, combined with her professional training in trauma recovery, makes her deeply empathetic and understanding. I felt fully accepted as I shared my spiritual beliefs, shame, grief, joy, and aspirations. She introduced me to creative and holistic ways of healing, and her down-to-earth, humorous nature made the journey feel safe and inspiring.

I would recommend Chloe to anyone seeking compassionate support to heal from the past, rebuild confidence, and embrace life with a new sense of freedom.
